Inspired by the Tabwa culture of Central Africa, the collection draws on their appreciation for linear geometric motifs, infusing each piece with cultural significance and artistic elegance.

THE DESIGNER
Jacques Deneef is an Antwerp-based designer with a fascination for basic materials such as glass, wood, leather, paper and wax. After entering the world of art via his talents in oil and acrylic painting, he now focuses his time giving used objects new leases of life, alongside design development in sectors such as jewellery, lighting, textile, furniture and decoration. In offering objects a new existence, Jacques believes they are transformed into something new, they are made useful in some other way, ultimately resolving into their final destination: a work of art.

Designed by Carlos Baladia, the Ancestors Tabwa TV Cupboard from Ethnicraft is a timeless centerpiece of minimalistic silhouette with a unique and distinct character. Contemporary wooden furniture is transformed into a unique piece of art where each pattern is carefully carved by artisans. Named after the Tabwa culture from Central Africa, the Tabwa sideboard's inspiration comes from their fondness for linear geometric motifs.
Featuring one flip down door and one drawer that are solid teak paired with powdered coated black frame for a modern understated look that will look great in any home. This entertainment console is constructed from 100% FSC certified sustainably sourced teak from Indonesia and is easy to maintain.

A delivery fee applies to all purchases (per order, per location), inclusive of assembly & placement of free-standing items. Our delivery team operates from Tuesday to Saturday every week excluding Thursday and public holidays. Our delivery charges are $30 for all orders under $500 & $80 for all orders exceeding $500.
