Shedding of loose fibers may happen but is expected to decrease over time. Anticipate the highest shedding within the initial 3–6 months. Regularly vacuum with a low-power setting. Choose a vacuum without a beater brush to prevent damage. Optimal results come from vacuuming in various directions and making multiple passes over the area. Swiftly address spills by blotting with a clean, undyed cloth, pressing firmly to absorb as much as possible. For stubborn stains, it is advisable to seek professional rug cleaning services.
Safeguard your investment by using a rug pad, which enhances traction between the rug and floor, preventing slipping, ensuring a smooth and flat appearance, and avoiding colour transfer. Additionally, we advise against prolonged exposure to direct sunlight and recommend employing rug protectors beneath the legs of heavy furniture to prevent flattening. Refrain from pulling loose ends; instead, use scissors to clip them off.
When storing your rug, roll it with the front side out and wrap it in cloth for protection. Avoid folding or storing the rug in an airtight plastic bag, and choose a dry, well-ventilated area for storage.
