The Portobello Armchair showcases scooping organic forms, creating an elegant silhouette from its sweeping back to its soft seat. The curved outer shell resembles a mushroom’s dome, while the inner filling offers the perfect balance between soft and firm. Available with either a continuously bent steel base or a solid oak base, it also has a matching footstool for added comfort.
Crafted with meticulous attention to detail, the Portobello Armchair showcases Tolv's commitment to quality and sustainability. Its frame, made from responsibly sourced wood, is polished to highlight the natural grain. Upholstered in premium fabrics, the cushions offer durability and a luxurious feel, making it a striking addition to any space.

THE DESIGNERMentsen is a London-based design practice established in 2011 by Yasuyuki Sakurai and Risa Sano. The studio name means ‘lines and surfaces’ in Japanese, referencing combined specialities in product design and visual communication. Mentsen works across disciplines to provide brands and organisations with meaningful direction, clarity and thoughtfulness.
The fabulous Portobello Armchair is slick and smooth, and is a modernistic piece of furniture tailored to perfection. Bursting with a distinguished Scandinavian style, this piece features a curved design, upholstered with the highest quality fabric, thus creating an amazing style boost for any interior. It's plush cushions are soft and wide, while its underlying oak frame ensures both stability and long lasting comfort. A matching foot stool is available.

A delivery fee applies to all purchases (per order, per location), inclusive of assembly & placement of free-standing items. Our delivery team operates from Tuesday to Saturday every week excluding Thursday and public holidays. Our delivery charges are $30 for all orders under $500 & $80 for all orders exceeding $500.
Please note that approval for a refund is subject to the conditions.
