Short for “polished imperfect”, the PI collection is inspired by the balance that exists in nature, embracing organic curves and the beauty of solid wood.
Each PI item is finished by hand to ensure that the individual character of the wood is respected. The PI sideboard is striking and unique, with practical storage to complement a variety of spaces.
The PI Collection draws inspiration from the delicate balance found in the natural world, seamlessly blending the raw beauty of wood with minimal, Belgian design.
THE DESIGNER
Alain van Havre brings a deep connection to natural materials and exceptional woodworking expertise. His designs blend timelessness with contemporary relevance, aiming to create forms that resonate with our natural environment. Over the past 20 years, Alain has played a pivotal role in influencing the Ethnicraft designs we know and love today.

The Oak PI Sideboard retains the clean, minimalist aesthetic of the PI collection, with elegant curves and natural imperfections. Crafted from solid hardwood oak timber. Solid wood only, no veneers or engineered wood used in this piece. The clear satin lacquer finish is meticulously applied, providing a protective, smooth matte sheen that enhances the wood's natural beauty, highlighting its unique grain patterns. For regular care, wipe the surface with a dry (lint-free) cloth. For oil and food stains use a damp cloth to wipe stains and follow with a clean dry cloth. Do not leave liquid to sit on timber surface as it will penetrate and may cause staining.

A delivery fee applies to all purchases (per order, per location), inclusive of assembly & placement of free-standing items. Our delivery team operates from Tuesday to Saturday every week excluding Thursday and public holidays. Our delivery charges are $30 for all orders under $500 & $80 for all orders exceeding $500.
