The link between past and present, craftsmanship and design, is further enhanced by the use of durable, locally sourced wool, which adds subtle nuances and colour variations to each rug. These natural irregularities stem from the wool’s organic pigments, wrapping the yarn in unique tones and making every rug truly one-of-a-kind, perfect for any space in your home.


The designs in this collection feature both patterned and plain styles, with some inspired by natural elements. Each design pairs seamlessly with Ethnicraft’s existing pieces—whether chairs, sofas, tables, or beds—creating a harmonious space where elegant simplicity, warmth, and comfort take centre stage.

Collaborating with Ethnicraft, Ashtari brings its expertise in creating handcrafted rugs, using time-honoured methods and carefully selected materials. Their commitment to authentic, artisanal production results in rugs that carry both beauty and durability, adding timeless character to any space.

Through a collaboration with Ashtari Carpets, every kilim rug is meticulously handwoven using traditional techniques and specially chosen yarns to enhance its character and texture. Crafted from 100% sheep wool with a natural oil content, these rugs offer warmth and durability for your flooring needs.
