We source from the Northern most region of India, near the border of Pakistan, Rajasthan is home to artisan craftsman and hidden warehouses that produce the most unique and beautiful furniture pieces in the world. For 17 years, we have been on a search through these hidden places in Rajasthan, sourcing the pieces that speak to us and evoke the senses. Through a careful process, our carpenters remodel, reshape and restore the pieces we find on our journeys.
The Reclaimed Architectural Teak Mirror is handcrafted from an original teak doorway reclaimed from a historic home in India, where it once framed the entrance to generations of family life. Today, the original doorway opening has been thoughtfully transformed into a full-length mirror, preserving the beauty of traditional architecture while giving it a new purpose in the modern home.
Throughout India, entrance doorways were often the most intricately crafted architectural feature of a home, showcasing the remarkable skill of local artisans. Every floral motif, geometric pattern and carved detail on this frame was shaped entirely by hand and has naturally aged over decades, creating a richness, softness and authentic patina that simply cannot be recreated.
Unlike newly carved timber, this doorway retains the subtle imperfections, weathered edges and warm tones that tell the story of its previous life. Finding reclaimed architectural doorways with their original carvings still beautifully intact is becoming increasingly rare, making each mirror a genuine one-of-a-kind piece.

A delivery fee applies to all purchases (per order, per location), inclusive of assembly & placement of free-standing items. Our delivery team operates from Tuesday to Saturday every week excluding Thursday and public holidays. Our delivery charges are $30 for all orders under $500 & $80 for all orders exceeding $500.
