Mikado has been one of Ethnicraft’s most recognisable designs for years. Its sculptural character is the result of a quest to find a balance between functionality and stability. Mikado’s legs interlock like a well-thought-out puzzle.
The Mikado Oval Coffee Table is characterised by its striking base design, featuring intersecting wooden legs that form a dynamic and visually captivating arrangement reminiscent of the game "Mikado" (also known as pick-up sticks).
Each Mikado Coffee Table is expertly crafted by skilled artisans, ensuring precision and quality in every aspect of its construction.
THE DESIGNER
Alain van Havre brings a deep connection to natural materials and exceptional woodworking expertise. His designs blend timelessness with contemporary relevance, aiming to create forms that resonate with our natural environment. Over the past 20 years, Alain has played a pivotal role in influencing the Ethnicraft designs we know and love today.

Featuring a generous 100cm diameter, it provides ample space for displaying your cherished homeware and accessories, adding both functionality and style to your space. This coffee table is crafted from solid light coloured European oak. Finished with a hardwearing clear lacquer finish which keeps it looking good and ensures easy maintenance. The natural beauty of the solid wood grain is highlighted on the smooth, sleek surface, making it a versatile addition to any interior decor. For regular care, wipe the surface with a dry (lint-free) cloth. For oil and food stains use a damp cloth to wipe stains and follow with a clean dry cloth. Do not leave liquid to sit on timber surface as it will penetrate and may cause staining.

A delivery fee applies to all purchases (per order, per location), inclusive of assembly & placement of free-standing items. Our delivery team operates from Tuesday to Saturday every week excluding Thursday and public holidays. Our delivery charges are $30 for all orders under $500 & $80 for all orders exceeding $500.
