Our love for unique, high quality, and environmentally-sustainable home furnishings inspired us in curating our Nomad India collection.

We source from the Northern most region of India, near the border of Pakistan, Rajasthan is home to artisan craftsman and hidden warehouses that produce the most unique and beautiful furniture pieces in the world. For 17 years, we have been on a search through these hidden places in Rajasthan, sourcing the pieces that speak to us and evoke the senses. Through a careful process, our carpenters remodel, reshape and restore the pieces we find on our journeys. Crafted by Indian artisan Chirag Choudhary, this wooden mortar was used to grind spices and other different types of grains in the past. With their sturdy construction and timeless design, these mortars have stood the test of time and are ready to continue their journey in the modern home.

Display them on a countertop or use them as eye-catching accents in your dining area. The patina and wear that come with age add a sense of authenticity and history, making these mortars pieces of art with a story to tell.

A delivery fee applies to all purchases (per order, per location), inclusive of assembly & placement of free-standing items. Our delivery team operates from Tuesday - to Saturday every week excluding public holidays. Our delivery charges are $30 for all orders under $500 & $80 for all orders exceeding $500.
