The Beauty of Solid Wood
The beauty of natural hardwood lies in the uniqueness and individuality of each timber piece. Variations in the wood grain, colour, knots and texture are far from flaws, but add character and complement the clean lines of these designs. They are a testament to the authenticity and strength of our products.
No veneered MDF has been used in this product. All the wood is solid timber. Solid timber makes the product far stronger, heavier and of a much higher quality. It is also easier to repair should it get damaged; the joints can withstand greater impacts and it is a more robust material for surfaces that see heavy use such as table tops.
Oak is a beautiful strong wood with a lovely natural grain. Variations in the grain, colour, and knots are inherent to all authentic timber ensuring each piece of furniture has its own unique natural characteristics. We believe that these characteristics bring the piece to life.
Following these simple guidelines to care for your oak piece will keep it looking its best.
- For regular care, wipe the surface with a dry (lint-free) cloth.
- For oil and food stains use a damp cloth to wipe stains and follow with a clean dry cloth.
- Do not leave liquid to sit on timber surface as it will penetrate and may cause staining.
