No. 2 | Decorative Shield - Medium

$320
Availability : In Stock

These Bamun shields are hand-carved by the Bamun natives of Cameroon from local wood, and they are descended from fighting shields used by warriors.

The geometric designs carved onto the shields were intended to throw the opponent off guard during combat. The shields are now used in dances for rituals and festivities.

We adore the striking yet classic hand-carved patterns on the shields because they make them ideal decorative standout pieces for any room.
