Our love for unique, high quality, and environmentally-sustainable home furnishings inspired us in curating our Nomad Village collection.

We have nurtured relationships with our suppliers and craftsmen over two generations, always collaborating with people who value the balance between quality, technicality, beauty, and design. Our love and passion for sustainably sourced solid teak timber from Java has helped to drive the creation of this series. The close longstanding partnership with our local carpenter and his team of skilled craftsmen in Indonesia enables us to bring to you beautiful, one of a kind, wooden pieces that should be treasured.

Each piece of teak is ethically sourced, from old buildings and structures that have been torn down to be replaced by modern developments or through FSC® approved supply chains. All Beds, Dining Tables, Cabinets, Bookcases and Daybeds in the Nomad Village collection have been built and finished by hand. Every piece has its own story to tell.

The Teak Rattan 4 door sideboard is hand-crafted by a family run carpentry shop in Java, whose carpenters travel around Indonesia sourcing the highest grade, recycled teak to create this timeless and special piece. The rattan panels on the doors keep the sideboard looking light and fresh, whilst hiding away all your everyday, household items. Our rattan sideboards are constructed using reclaimed teak from old or abandoned buildings. Each piece is unique and handcrafted by skilled Javanese artisans. Inset with woven rattan panels. ⁠

Unique to Originals - Our rattan sideboard marries Teak from Java with natural hard-wearing rattan weave. While this this design is extremely stylish it also serves as a practical solution to ventilate the sideboard. The rattan allows the air to flow through freely which is so important living in the tropics. Whether storing crockery, shoes, books or your valuable photo albums this is the ideal piece.

A delivery fee applies to all purchases (per order, per location), inclusive of assembly & placement of free-standing items. Our delivery team operates from Tuesday - to Saturday every week excluding public holidays. Our delivery charges are $30 for all orders under $500 & $80 for all orders exceeding $500.
