The Beauty of Old Teak

Dining tables from our Nomad Village range are wholly dedicated to the natural beauty of aged teak wood. We love the warmth and richness of old solid teak - the way it deepens as it ages and takes on a patina as the years pass by. It feels like satin, smooth and soft to the touch. Each dining table is unique and will add character and style to your dining room. We spend careful time working with the wood, hand-crafting it to highlight the intricacies in the grain and natural knots and marks that make every piece unique. The beauty of natural materials lies in its peculiarities and imperfections. Variations in the wood grain, colour, knots and other natural characteristics are inherent. These are far from flaws, but an intricate part of its character. We believe that these authentic imperfections contribute to the charm of our products.

No veneered MDF has been used on this product. All the wood used for this dining table top is solid Teak timber. This makes the product far stronger, heavier and of a much higher quality. Solid teak timber is relatively easy to repair should it get chipped or damaged unlike a veneered surface. The whitewash also helps conceal marks and stains, making your dining table look great for many years.

Powder Coated Frame

Powder coating is a safe, dry finishing process that uses finely ground particles of pigment and resin to create a protective finish on steel frames. When applied to steel, powder coating provides a protective barrier against moisture and humidity that helps prevent corrosion and rust. It does not crack, peel, or corrode, and is easy to maintain and touch up if damaged.
