About Our Leather

We work closely with our suppliers to select and curate a wide range of leathers to best suit your different upholstery needs. Choose from our range of stocked leathers that are ready for immediate delivery or contact us to discuss special order leather options.

The leather we use on our furniture is a full-grain, full aniline leather. The hides are sourced in South America and finished in Italian tanneries. The hides are tanned exclusively with soluble dyes and then given a brushed finish. They aren’t painted. This means that the leather retains its natural surface, making it more breathable and supple. You will also be able to see the original grain and markings of the hide.

We treat the leather this way as it gives it that smooth, buttery soft velvet feel that will age beautifully over time developing a rich patina and colour.

Composition: 100% Italian calf aniline leather upholstery

Frame: Kiln-dried pine wood frame. Solid oak legs.
Support: Shaker style hand-woven seatbelt strap webbing.

Seat cushions: Multilayered high density foam topped with a layer of down feathers and microfibre wrap.
Back cushions: Microfibre and down feather combination.
Cushion covers: Thick cotton lining that prohibits feathers from poking or escaping the lining.

The seat and back cushion covers are removable for easy cleaning. Avoid using leather polishes and harsh cleaning agents.

Establishing his studio in 2007 Foggo has become known for his refined, elegant, and functional work. He has brought an unpretentious and humanised quality to a wide range of projects, including architectural collaborations, furniture, and interior design as well as private commission works of art.
