Our Rattan bed is our newest and fast becoming a favourite. Cleverly combining teak with rattan by skilled craftsmen helps to give a light tropical feel to this bed frame. Add resort charm to your bedroom with this unique design.
This bed frame is hand made with solid Indonesian reclaimed teak. Our skilled artisans inset with woven rattan panels along with white washed teak.
Pair it with our Rattan bedside tables for a beautiful and timeless look.

The Beauty of Solid Wood
The beauty of natural hardwood, lies in the uniqueness and individuality of each timber piece. Variations in the wood grain, colour, knots and texture are far from flaws, but add character and complement the clean lines of these designs. They are a testament to the authenticity and strength of our products.
No veneered MDF has been used in this product. All the wood is solid timber. Solid timber makes the product far stronger, heavier and of a much higher quality. It is also easier to repair should it get damaged; the joints can withstand greater impacts and it is a more robust material for surfaces that see heavy use such as bed frames.
Slatted Support
This bed is made from reclaim old teak from Indonesia and lacquer finished which ensures easy maintenance.
It also comes with wooden slats and brackets that allows the mattress height to be adjusted. There is also an option to place a flat board (chargeable) if required.

Care for Teak
No other wood shares teak's exceptional strength and durability. Its resilience is due to its dense structure and high oil content.
Variations in the grain, colour, and knots are inherent to all authentic timber ensuring each piece of furniture has its own unique natural characteristics. We believe that these characteristics bring the piece to life.
Following these simple guidelines to care for your teak piece will keep it looking its best.
Teak Regular Care
The teak in our Nomad Village Collection is from well seasoned old teak that has been treated and hand-lacquered by skilled Javanese artisans using traditional techniques. The density of teak wood and the additional lacquer finishing makes the surface resistant against stains.
For regular care, wipe timber to remove dust and dirt with a dry cloth. Try to wipe up spills immediately with a damp cloth and if needed, natural soap. Do not use soap containing detergent or other chemicals. Please do not use abrasive sponges or sand your oak furniture as this will damage the lacquer finish.
Timber will react to its environmental conditions. It is best to avoid extreme variations in temperature and humidity. The colour of the timber will naturally change overtime; extreme exposure to UV light, such as placing your piece in direct sunlight, will quicken this process.

A $50 delivery fee applies to all purchases (per order, per location), inclusive of assembly and placement for free standing items.
